DISCOURAGEMENT may come but don’t let it over come you
MORNING CUP OF MOTIVATION: Bring life into yourself through Encouragement. DISCOURAGEMENT may come but don’t let it over come you. Sometimes discouragement comes out of left field and hits us like the wind. It’s can sometimes knock us down, and dry up our attitudes about life.
What causes discouragement? Some might say our circumstances, our surroundings, a setback… Whatever the cause, we hold the cure within ourselves!
We can choose our mood and outlook to be positive and as John says, we can “encourage ourselves” through our own attitude. Whilst we live in a society that wants to put blame on other people, those who feel discouraged can garner hope by making a simple decision to become positive on every aspect of their life. Take the time to celebrate the smallest of successes and give thanks for the good things that you have (a roof over your head, food in your stomach, money in your account…) and let that start to encourage you and help you to Lift the Lid on your situation!

But the bible says David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. 1samuel 30:1-6. When circumstances and people want to discourage you,be like David and encourage yourself in your God, past exploits, the promise for a better tomorrow .
Drive out the DISCOURAGEMENT
Life is a game and the mind is the battle field. So TODAY, let’s Be determined to face the challenges of the day with a NO MATTER WHAT attitude. Write down your “I AM” statements. Read them and Put them on repeat. When you are weak, tell yourself “I AM strong”. When you get tired and feel like giving up, tell yourself “I AM an overcomer” And “I AM Successful today”. Drive out the DISCOURAGEMENT and replace it with more Encouragement. No matter what. Encourage yourself TODAY!
